What is the verbiage regarding the renewal of license requirements? Pursuant to the provisions of section 5-19.1-14 of the General Laws of Rhode Island, as amended, any pharmacist, licensed to practice pharmacy in Rhode Island, who seeks annual licensure renewal, shall be required to have satisfactorily completed at least fifteen (15) hours (1.5 continuing education units) of continuing education courses sponsored by a recognized provider. Furthermore, five (5) hours or 0.5 continuing education units of the required fifteen (15) hours of continuing education must be live hours.
